The new church is already a reality nowadays, and the meeting and catechism rooms are already made. Many people approached us, our community is larger in the new temple and we're fully happy with it. The conveyance of the Christian message in new areas makes us very content, as it turns real a cordial understanding between tradition and modernity. The new parish in Diagonal Mar was born with the will to propose a space where a Christian community is organized and where quietness and prayer are favoured.

On September 25th 2003, Monsignor Cardinal-Archbishop Ricard M. Carles erected the new parish, under the auspices of Saint Francis of Paula. On October 3d same year, Mn. Joan-Josep Villegas Acién was named its rector. On December 21st 2003, Monsignor Cardinal Ricard M. Carles blessed the first stone of our new parish complex. But finally works did not start until 27th October 2005. On April 12 2009, Easter of Ressurrection, the cult was finally initiated at the new temple. Finally, last May 24th 2009 the dedication or consagration cerimony took place, presided by Monsignor Lluís Martínez y Sistach, Cardinal-Archbishop of Barcelona.
